WMC’s mission is to advocate for today’s modern domestic mining industry which is essential to our Nation. WMC has been an active grassroots organization since 1993, bringing constituents together from across the country to communicate with members of Congress and regulatory agencies. WMC has continued its mission since then, addressing various legislative and regulatory issues facing the mining industry.
