TerraX revisits Mispickel target; cuts more visible gold in quartz

TerraX Minerals Inc. June 6 posted results from the last 22 holes of the 2016 winter drill program at its Yellowknife City Gold Project.

Five of the holes were follow-up to holes drilled at Mispickel.

Similar to the drilling at the onset of the winter drill program, the follow-up drilling cut visible gold zones in quartz veins.

Highlights include: eight meters of 60.6 grams per metric ton gold in hole TWL16-016; 10.68 meters of 2.34 g/t gold in hole TWL16-015; and 12.95 meters of 1.53 g/t gold in hole TWL16-017.

"The areal extent of the gold mineralization at Mispickel indicates a large mineralizing system within which exist significant high-grade gold zones, as evidenced by the drill results reported today," explained TerraX President Joe Campbell.

"Our summer drill program will follow-up on this success by further testing along the strike and dip extensions of the Mispickel structure, which was only discovered this winter and has had limited drill testing." The remaining holes were drilled at the Barney, AES, Pinto and VSB zones.
