TerraX names officers, wraps summer drilling

TerraX Minerals Inc. Oct. 19 provided a corporate update that includes the appointment of new officers and an overview of the summer phase of a 27,000-meter drill program at its Yellowknife City Gold Project, just north of the capital of Northwest Territories.

Following the company's annual general meeting on Oct. 18, the board of directors appointed Joseph Campbell as chairman and CEO. Prior to the appointment, Campbell was serving as president and CEO. Stuart Rodgers, who previously held the position of CFO, was appointed president. Mark Gelmon is the new CFO.

The Yellowknife summer program, which was expanded to include three drills on multiple drill targets, included 36 holes for 10,078 meters.

The company had previously reported assay results from four holes that cut significant zones of mineralization at Mispickel, including 5.53 meters of 29.85 grams per metric ton gold in the hanging wall and three meters of 22.44 g/t gold in the main zone of drill hole TWL16-020.

Assay results are pending from the remaining holes.

"We are looking forward to receiving and reporting the results from our summer drill program while we refine drill targets for drilling in January," said Rogers. "The next twelve months will be extremely busy for us as we plan to test a multitude of new high-grade gold targets identified this summer across our entire land position in what has historically been one of the highest grade gold districts in Canada."
