Golden Predator Mining Corp. Nov. 8 announced the receipt of a Class 4 Mining Land Use Permit that allows for a significant expansion of exploration activities at its 3 Aces gold project in southeastern Yukon.
With the issuance of this five-year permit, the company is now authorized to construct up to 45 kilometers (28 miles) of roads, complete 40,000 cubic meters of trenching and extract 10,000 metric tons of bulk sample material annually.
"Golden Predator commenced the application process for this permit in 2016 following the company's bulk sampling program when the need for expanded exploration became clear," explained Golden Predator CEO Janet Lee-Sheriff.
"We want to thank the Yukon Government, the Yukon Environmental and Socio Economic Assessment staff and Board and the Kaska Nation for their due diligence in the review and approval of our application." During the 2016 program Golden Predator is currently mineralized veins identified during the 2016 exploration program at 3 Aces.
The Class 4 license allows the company to expand this program, including significant bulk sampling of the most promising high-grade gold targets.
