TerraX expands gold zone at Yellowknife

North of 60 Mining News – September 13, 2019

TerraX Minerals Inc. Sept. 9 reported that the latest batch of drill results has extended the Sam Otto South zone to 1,200 meters. The larger Sam Otto zone on the company's Yellowknife City Gold Project has now been outlined over 2,500 meters of strike and the corridor extends 2,500 meters further south.

Highlights from six holes drilled at Sam Otto South include:

• seven meters of 2.93 grams per metric ton gold, within 40 meters of 0.6 g/t gold in hole TSO19-043;

• nine meters of 1.2 g/t gold in TSO19-045;

• 14 meters of 1.36 g/t gold, within 34 meters of 0.64 g/t gold in TSO19-046; and

• 11 meters of 1.24 g/t gold in TSO19-047.

These holes were drilled along a 600-meter section of Sam Otto South and overall drilling has tapped this zone over a 1,200-meter strike.

When combined with the South Otto Main zone to the north, gold mineralization has been outlined for 2,500 meters.

Previous drilling at Sam Otto has cut 49.7 meters averaging one gram of gold per metric ton, 32.13 meters of 1.24 g/t gold, 30.75 meters of 1.29 g/t gold, and 27.7 meters of 1.64 g/t gold.

"The opportunity at Sam Otto has improved considerably with these results by extending gold mineralization to 2.5 kilometers (1.6 miles) of strike length," said TerraX Minerals President and CEO David Suda. "We are very much looking forward to the remaining results from Sam Otto and the nearby high-grade target at Crestaurum."

One hole drilled at Crestaurum in 2013 cut five meters averaging 62.9 g/t gold.

"These targets are in close proximity to one another and represent the opportunity for TerraX to deliver an attractive resource next to excellent infrastructure in the town of Yellowknife," Suda continued.
