Enduro preps for large BC drill program

A 10,000-meter program to test grassroots mineral targets North of 60 Mining News – July 2, 2021

Enduro Metals Corp. June 30 announced that it has mobilized crews for a 10,000-meter drill program at the company's 654-square-kilometer (253 square miles) Newmont Lake gold-silver-copper project in British Columbia's Golden Triangle.

This fully-funded drill program has been designed to test the highest priority targets from extensive grassroots exploration and research since 2018.

"The 2021 exploration season is an amalgamation of everything our technical team has learned over the past 2.5 years of systematic exploration across our large land package," said Enduro Metals President and CEO Cole Evans. "We are focused on testing targets we believe have the highest potential of being a top-tier exploration discovery in one of the hottest mining/exploration jurisdictions in the world."

This includes the first-ever drilling of Chachi Central Zone, Havana, and Burgundy's Green Rock Breccia- all of which are targets identified by the company as being prospective for large-scale, multi-element grassroots discoveries.

The exploration program will also include deep penetrating induced polarization and magnetotelluric ground-based geophysical surveys, a combination that has never been conducted at Newmont Lake. Enduro said this approach is aimed at delineating the scalability of several target areas on the property as these two geophysics systems combined provide a detailed image of geophysical responses at depth.

In addition to exploration, Enduro is completing several infrastructural improvements for an anticipated extended drill campaign that includes upgrades to the airstrip to allow for larger aircraft and surveying to establish an improved winter road into the Newmont Lake Camp.

"The road to this point has not been quick or easy, but it has positioned Enduro to have an exceptional exploration season purpose built to put the scale, optionality, and mineral endowment of the Newmont Lake project on the radar of the world's biggest mining companies," said Evans.
