AME Roundup 2023 – Critical to Our Future

Registration for annual mineral exploration conference opens North of 60 Mining News – October 14, 2022

Every January, except for that year when COVID pandemic lockdowns necessitated a virtual attendance, thousands of professionals involved and associated with mineral exploration come together in Vancouver, British Columbia, for the Association for Mineral Exploration's annual Roundup conference and trade show.

AME Roundup 2023 – "Critical to Our Future" – will highlight the critical role mineral exploration plays in discovering orebodies that feed global supply chains with the minerals and metals essential to a low-carbon future, transformative technologies, and strong economies.

"Responsible mineral exploration and development are critical to addressing our global challenges," said AME President and CEO Kendra Johnston. "The minerals and metals we discover ignite global supply chains, drive innovation and technology transformation, power new energy solutions, and help achieve a low-carbon future. They are 'Critical to Our Future,' and it starts with our passion, commitment, and expertise as an industry."

From Jan. 23-26, geoscientists, prospectors, financiers, investors, suppliers, governments, and Indigenous partners from around the world will gather at the Vancouver Convention Centre East to learn about the latest mineral exploration discoveries and technologies; connect with stakeholders, investors, and service providers; and share the opportunities and challenges of exploring for and developing deposits that offer future supplies of the minerals critical to addressing global challenges.

After a two-year hiatus, AME is also happy to bring back Discovery Day, a family-focused event that offers the public an opportunity to experience mineral exploration and mining with displays, exhibits and experiences. This event is free, and AME invites all members of the public to join them at Vancouver Convention Centre East on Sunday, Jan. 22, to learn about mineral exploration and mining in a fun, hands-on, and interactive environment.

For attendees of Roundup 2023, AME has opened up registration and is offering early bird ticket pricing until Dec. 9.
