First Osiris drilling in over four years

ATAC drills Rackla for small program, renewed plans to return North of 60 Mining News – November 4, 2022

ATAC Resources Ltd. Nov. 1 reported strong gold intercepts from this year's drilling Osiris deposit, the first drilling to be carried out at the Nadaleen project on the broader Rackla Gold property in the Yukon, since 2018.

The 2022 program at Nadaleen included 1,551 meters of drilling in five holes – three at Osiris and one each in the Sunrise and Conrad targets.

"While we only conducted a small-scale program this year, these results are a great reminder of the high-grade nature of the Osiris deposit and the potential for significant resource growth through systematic step-outs along strike and at depth," said ATAC Resources President and CEO Graham Downs.

Osiris hosts 5.53 million metric tons of indicated resource averaging 2 grams per metric ton (732,000 ounces) gold; plus 9.36 million metric tons of inferred resource averaging 2 g/t (1.04 million oz) gold.

Drilling focused on extending gold mineralization down dip at Osiris.

Highlights from the drilling at Osiris include:

33.2 meters averaging 2.63 g/t gold in hole OS-22-283, including 6.8 meters averaging 9.29 g/t gold.

10.8 meters averaging 3.69 g/t gold in hole OS-22-285, including 2.1 meters averaging 10.91 g/t gold.

Although ATAC has had some ups and downs regarding its efforts at Nadaleen, the company has continued to pursue other projects while regrouping work at its flagship property.

While Nadaleen has largely been on the back burner in favor of ATAC's newer properties, Catch and PIL, the high-grade mineralization is not something that can be ignored, and the company aims to continue advancing this highly prospective property in the years to come.

"We look forward to returning to Nadaleen with a resource expansion program in the coming years, as well as further drilling at the Anubis target which hosts earlier-stage, high-grade Carlin-style mineralization along a 2.5 kilometer fault structure," Downs added.
