First year's update from White Gold

Drill cuts incredible 10.85m of 5.85 g/t gold at Ryan’s Surprise North of 60 Mining News - January 6, 2023

White Gold Corp. Jan. 5 announced the first results for the year from its 2022 drilling program at the Ryan's Surprise target on the White Gold property with a significant intercept of 10.85 meters averaging 5.85 grams per metric ton gold that extends mineralization along strike.

According to the most recent resource estimate, the flagship deposits on the company's namesake property – Golden Saddle and Arc – together host 15.6 million metric tons of indicated resource averaging 2.28 g/t (1.14 million ounces) gold and 9 million metric tons of inferred resource averaging 1.39 g/t (402,100 oz) gold.

Located approximately 2,000 meters west of the Golden Saddle and Arc deposits, Ryan's Surprise occurs in the southern part of a 6,500- by 1,000-meter-long north-northwest gold-arsenic geochemical trend referred to as Ryan's Trend.

Hole WHTRS22D029 encountered several zones of significant gold mineralization, which included a remarkable 10.85 meters averaging 5.34 g/t gold from a depth of 266.5 meters, including 0.85 meters averaging 37.7 g/t gold. This also represents a 50-meter extension of mineralization along strike to the southeast.

"We are very pleased to have further expanded and infilled the large footprint of gold mineralization at the Ryan's Surprise [target]," said White Gold CEO David D'Onofrio. "Mineralization remains open in all directions, with Hole 29 this year ranking amongst the best holes drilled to date at this target."

In addition to the 5.34 g/t gold intercept in the lower zone, this hole encountered multiple upper zone intercepts, including 11.15 meters averaging 1.26 g/t gold from a depth of 99.85 meters and 4.5 meters averaging 2.74 g/t gold from a depth of 75 meters.

Furthermore, assays from hole WHTRS22D032 were also received, which comprised multiple zones including 1.4 meters averaging 4.47 g/t gold from a depth of 95.3 meters, 17.5 meters averaging 0.58 g/t gold from 179 meters, 0.55 meters averaging 8.03 g/t gold from 219.65 meters, and 14.35 meters averaging 0.69 g/t gold from 315.25 meters.

The mineralized footprint at Ryan's Surprise has been defined for roughly 450 meters east-west by 450 meters north-south and to a vertical depth of 450 meters so far and remains open in all directions.

"We believe that the Ryan's Surprise target has the ability to meaningfully increase the size of our significant gold resources and look forward to conducting an initial resource estimate at this target which hosts high-grade and bulk tonnage mineralization," said D'Onofrio.

Three-dimensional geological modeling of the mineralization at Ryan's Surprise is currently being updated in advance of an initial mineral resource estimate that the company aims to begin this year.

Additional exploration on the property in 2022 included diamond drilling at Ulli's Ridge, the gap area between Ulli's Ridge and Ryan's Surprise, and a focused prospecting program on other targets along the 6,500-meter-long Ryan's Trend, including follow-up rotary air blast drilling.

Results from this part of the program will be announced in due course as results are received and interpreted.

"We also look forward to the results from the drilling on several other prospective targets on the Ryan's Trend to demonstrate additional gold mineralization along the trend and the potential for further expansion of our significant gold resources in this area," finished D'Onofrio.
