Core Assets outlines high-grade CRD trend

Mining Explorers 2023 - January 18, 2024

While the district-scale Blue property in Northern British Columbia offers an array of high-grade skarn and carbonate replacement deposit targets, along with underlying porphyry targets, Core Assets Corp. narrowed the focus of its 2023 exploration on a 2,400-meter trend of high-grade CRD and skarn mineralization at Silver Lime.

Honing in on this high-grade corridor began with Core Assets' 2021 first-pass exploration at Blue, a 275,890-acre (111,650 hectares) land package that lies alongside the Alaska border in BC's Atlin Mining District.

The two most advanced project areas on the Blue property are Laverdiere, a high-grade iron-copper-gold skarn target in the southeastern area of the land package, and Silver Lime, a CRD and porphyry prospect area about 15 kilometers (nine miles) to the west.

The company identified a broad 6.6-kilometer (4.1 miles) mineralized corridor of conductive anomalies at Silver Lime that appears to be interconnected at depth by vertical conductive features.

A 15-hole (5,355-meters) drill program in 2022 tested the Jackie, Grizzly, and Sulphide City targests along the corridor at Silver Lime. The company's inaugural drilling at Silver Lime cut widespread skarn and chimney-style CRD feeders. Geophysical and mineralogical evidence indicates these zones are interconnected at depth and lead to a porphyry source.

Highlights from the 2022 drilling include:

1.25 meters averaging 215 grams per metric ton silver, 9.9% zinc, 8.9 % lead, and 0.36% copper in hole SLM22-001 (Jackie).

5.64 meters averaging 254 g/t silver, 4.8% zinc, 5.1% lead, 0.11% copper, and 0.12 g/t gold (Grizzly).

The 2023 drilling primarily targeted a 2,400-meter subsection of the larger corridor that includes the Pete's, Jackie, and Gally targets.

Highlights from 2023 Silver Lime drill results include:

3.33 meters averaging 138 g/t silver, 7.3% zinc, 7.2% lead, and 0.54% copper in hole SLM23-016 (Pete's).

2.12 meters averaging 260 g/t silver, 5.9% zinc, 5.2% lead, and 0.19% copper in hole SLM23-019 (Pete's).

6.4 meters averaging 159 g/t silver, 7.7% zinc, 8.7% lead, and 023% copper in hole SLM23-028 (Pete's).

10 meters averaging 75 g/t silver, 2.1% zinc, 0.7% lead, and 0.19% copper in hole SLM23-045 (Gally).

Eight meters averaging 139 g/t silver, 2.3% zinc, 1.7% lead, and 0.18% copper in hole SLM23-048 (Gally).

"Silver-rich sulphide mineralization can be seen at surface over the entirety of the 2.4-km trend and has now been intersected at multiple notable depths from surface to 453 meters," said Core Assets CEO Nick Rodway.

Core Assets also reports that drilling at the Jackie target at the southeast end of the trend has cut semi-massive to very massive sulfide CRD mineralization in four holes.

"We continue to demonstrate the extensive scale and grade of the CRD and skarn systems at the Silver Lime project," Rodway added.
